Meeting invitations from external users not working

We recently switched from a hosted mail service to our own Domino server. All users (some Outlook, some Notes) download their mail from the Domino server via POP. Before when we received Notes meeting invitations from external users, everything worked fine. Now all sorts of strange things happen when users are sent invitations, among them:

  • Recipient not given option to respond to invitation

  • Wrong person listed as meeting chair

  • Recipient does not receive invitation at all

Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

It sounds like something is stripping out fields in the invitations. 7.0.1 should handle all external calendar types fine. Are you using extra scanning software that wasn’t there before? (Virus scanning, mail monitoring, etc) Are there other devices being used. Something is different.

We are using new virus scanning and spam filtering software. This did not appear to be interfering with the invitations, since the ones sent through the filter from internal users work fine. However I will try to examine it closer, thanks for the suggestion.
