Maximum number of memory segments for particular document

Hi,

We have a bespoke database where a particular document cannot be opened. The error message is:

“Maximum number of memory segments that Notes can support has been exceeded”

This happens for all clients trying to access this document, and we have only experienced it for this particular document in this particular database (i.e. this is not a client or server issue).

The database has been used for years with no problems like this. My thought is that the document must be corrupt in some way which has caused the memory leak, is this possible?

Has anyone else experienced this on a particular document across many clients?

Thanks

Matt

It’s possible that the document could be corrupted. It would be easy to check by making a new copy (File → Database → New Copy) to see if you can then open the document. Failing that, try running fixup on your new copy.

That being said, 6.5.3 had numerous memory leaks. 6.5.4 is considered by many to be the first “truly mature” 6.5.x release. You might want to give that a whirl.
