Maximum number of databases with Domino R6.5 or Domino R7

We are running a web application on a Domino R5.0.11 server and there are 8000 databases and 450 concurrent users and we are running out of hard disk space.We may grow up to 1000 concurrent users and 15000 databases.

We are planning to move to Domino R6.5 or Domino R7 and wondering if there is a maximum a number of databases limit with Domino R6.5 or Domino R7?

Also, recommended Hardware specifications?

as far as I know there isn’t any limit on how many db you can put on a server.
