Whenever we set a master template name in the properties tab of a database with a Manager ID, the name gets wiped out the next day and the database is no longer a master template.
Has anyone encountered such behaviour ?

This can also happen if you already have a file with that template name on the same server. Try using a different name for your template and see if that helps.

You must have the rights to create masters templates, ask to your Notes/Domino Aministrator (with a smile) …
(Server doc. config. > “Security” tab > under “Server Access” > “Create master templates:” put your name or group)
