Master Lock Server

Hi all,

I created a new copy of a database for development purposes.

When I tried to open the database forms for edit, I get the message:

“The replica of this database on the master lock server ‘Server name’ is not available. Would you like to continue? If you hit OK, you will be notified by email of any replication or save conflicts that occur”

Regardless of “Yes” or “No” the form is opened in designer for edit.

I am not using any clustering/replication.

Basically the original db sit on the server with no replicas.

Subject: Master Lock Server - found the problem

I had “allow design locking” on.

After I removed it and created a new database copy, no more warning message.
