Is there a way to manually deploy a standard welcome page? The policy methods do not work for us. We verified that everyone has the appropriate rights.
Is there a way to install a file or change a .ini file locally so that a customized welcome page is used? It’s important that we do this without overwriting the users booksmark.nsf.

I have been all through the options for deploying a custom welcome page…and I have not found anything worthwhile other than the policies.
What problems are you having with the desktop settings and deploying welcome pages? The main problem I had, and still experience, is the interval when the users get the policy update. Sometimes it is immediate, and sometimes not until the next day.
It does not do exactly what I want, but have learned to compromise and accept what Notes provides (not a Notes Plug, just reality).
I messed around with upgrading the local bookmark template, but the got ugly really quick.

Hi, Thanks for the response. It just doesn’t work. We want the user to have the Welcome Page as a their Notes Home Page. It just doesn’t happen.
Any thoughts? What should I look for? What should I test? We feel that rights is not the issue.
