Are there any settings anywhere to manage the log.nsf file?
Specifically with mobile users who replicate frequently it appears that the log.nsf file will grow incredibly large. I had one user who had a 90mb log.nsf with entries over a year old.
I’m looking for a setting that defines how long to retain entries in the log.nsf file. Something like purge after 90 days.

I’d set the Space Saving settings to a much lower value 10 - 14 days should be more than enough.

there is a notes.ini parameter that effects the log.nsf:
Log=log.nsf, 1, 0, 7, 40000
Unfortunatley I do not remember exactly, which position is responsible for what, something like size, amount of stored days,… . Perhaps you could check the Admin help.

In the Replication settings, set it to delete after 90 days. As far as I know you will have to do this on each computer individually.

Thanks - this worked. It doesn’t make sense but I’ve made the change.
It doesn’t make sense because I don’t replicate the log so there was no reason to open the log and then check its replication settings.
I wonder what other goodies IBM/Lotus has hidden in such ‘obvious’ locations.
