Managed Replica new mail notification

We’ve moved our clients from the traditional ‘Mail on Server’ to Managed replicas.

One issue that I hear quite often, and I see it myself as well, is that the new mail notification sounder alerts the user to ‘New Mail’ seconds before the mail is actually available on the client. If you wait just 3-5 seconds, you’ll usually see it pop up.

Is there a setting to control that? Or is it something that needs to be looked at?

Servers are 9.0.1FP2, most clients 9.0.1FP1 or FP2.

I opened a PMR, thru debug we’re seeing that the new mail notification does in fact come before the mail is replicated and the view is updated. For local clients the delay usually isn’t too bad, but for remote users it can be quite noticeable.
