Manage ACL for a Single Category

I created a new database using the Document Library template StdR6WebDocLib.

I modified the database to have two additional sub-category’s similar to the team room format.

Question: Can I manage the ACL to allow ONLY members of a technical group to View / author documents of that ONE specific Category ?

It appears I can only manage ACL for the entire View only.

I am trying to eliminate the need to create a whole new database just to hold Technical Group documents. As I only want the Technical Group to see them.

Subject: Manage ACL for a Single Category

Put a Readers field on the documents you want to restrict. Don’t forget to include an admin role in an Authors field on all documents, and make sure your servers have that role.
