When I’m connected to the network and view my address book I can see everybody, but when I’m disconnected from the network I can’t view all my contacts. Lotus Admin is on Vacation, and someone presented me with this problem. Is there a path that has to be setup in user preferences? I’m thinking making a local copy and make a path to that address book?

Hi,
Do a search in your server. If there is a dircat.nsf file there, so you can use it.
This database contains only relevant information from DD.
Use the explanation from Hynek before, just substituting names.nsf to dircat.nsf.

Hi,
don’t know if i understand exactly what you want, but if you need your company’s “Domino Directory” have accessible even when you work offline then do the following:
-
Create a replica of the addressbook on your local cleint (the filename can be anything but NOT “names.nsf” because this already exists )
-
In your client choose “File\Preferences\User Preferences”. On the “Mail”-Tab add the new database to the field “Local addressbooks”.
(User the browse-button or add it to the existing entry and separate it with a comma.)
Thats all.
Bye
