Major irritant - Click a mail folder twistie, window resets to top of list

I have a complaint about the behaviour of the mail folders pane. I have a lot of folders in my personal mail database (3 screens worth when collapsed). Whenever I click a twistie to open up a mail folder hierarchy (for example to drag & drop an email to one of the subfolders), the window refocuses to the top of the list. This forces me to re-scroll down to the desired folder. This is a major time-waster.

Views don’t behave this way. Microsoft Outlook doesn’t behave this way. Windows Explorer doesn’t behave this way. Heck, even iNotes doesn’t even behave this way! Only Notes mail!

Does anyone have a workaround for this? Failing that, Lotus - could you please fix this incredibly obnoxious behaviour?
