Can anyone please hightlight the main benefits to using R6.5 rather than R5?
I mainly looking at web features!
Subject: Did you read the “What’s new in this release” sections of the R6 and R6.5 help dbs? How about the readme.nsfs?
Or you could search the Articles section of the Technical Library area of this website for more prosaic articles on what’s new in various versions. There’s far, far too much to list here.
Subject: Main Difference betweeb R5 and R6.5
From a pre-package outlook as a user.1) I find the inotes client to be cleaner in 6.5 than in any previous version.
From design standpoint, the seperation of the style sheets, javascript libraries.
Design tool is easier to use in 6. Seperated items nicely, but the tiny scroll bar is bothersome.
More web functionality built into it (of course), look into ‘What’s New’, to see a list.
Speed of somethings might be quicker…possibly.
