I am using iNotes 8.5 (Domino Web Access). Is there a way to make “mailto” links in my browser (Firefox 3.5) open iNotes into a new message like you can with the Notes Client and Outlook?
In doing some research into this, it looks like it’s possible to register a URL as a protocol handler for mailto in Firefox, but I have no idea what the URL would need to be for iNotes.
Subject: There is in IE
There is a preference in iNotes when using IE to set the default mail client to iNotes. It is under the Basics tab in Preferences. There is no such preference when using Firefox. I’m checking with the developer in this area to see if there a URL for a protocol handler that can be used.
