I’m having some problems running a mail agent on a couple of old servers (legacy apps). I keep getting the message ‘You do not have a mail file/server specified. Use File Mobile Edit Current Location… to set them’. According to this technote http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=475&uid=swg21110630
the problem is that notes.ini does not have an entry for MailServer=
I’ve tried adding the parameter manually to the server’s notes.ini and restarting the server, but on two out of three servers, the parameter keeps getting removed. I’ve tried shutting down Domino, adding the param, than restarting Domino; I’ve tried adding it via the server configurations in the N&A book, but I can’t get it to stick.
Any suggestions for how to resolve this?
