I also got this problem quite a few times.What I did was to delete all replicas of the user’s mail file except the one on the main server.
Replace the design of the mail file with a blank template.
Then replace the design the the mail file with the original template.
Recreate the replicas.
That does it for me.
Subject: Multiple “Inbox” design item ?
I saw this on mailfile derivated from multilanguage template. There was “Inbox” design item twice in mailfile. Seems client do not knows into which inbox folder to deliver/show.
1/ Please chech design
2/ if no success you can do little trick:
make COPY of database (to local)
copy and paste 1 document from new local copy into original database inbox folder
try to send new email and check if new email comes to and shows in Inbox
Subject: Corrupt Inbox Possibly
It is possible that the $inbox is corrupt. Follow these steps to recreate the inbox:
Copy all the documents in the inbox into a temp folder
Open the mailfile in the Designer client and delete the $inbox folder
Save your changes, and then do a design replace on the mailfile (to the template the mailfile is currently on)
Move the messages in the temp folder back into the inbox

What if a user have 30 folders. Provide me some workaround which is helpful in restoring Mails back to inbox intesad of all Documents. IS it a Bug in lotus notes. Many people facced this same and no answer yet.
