I’m fairly new at being a Notes admin and I hope I can find some help here.
Last monday nobody but 5 people could access their maildb because the template the maildbs are based on got corrupt. After a few hours we got a copy of that template, copied the ACL and replaced the template to all 300+ maildbs…the problem now is that e-mails that are older than March 17, 2008 won’t show in Inbox. They show on Views → All documents but my users are very picky and naggy and they want their Inboxes the way it was.
I’ve restored about 30 maildbs from backups and that took me 10 hours. I can’t do the same thing with the rest. Does anyone know of any fix? I looked at ibm.com and googled but found nothing that can help me.
We all have Notes client 7.0.2 (except for 5 of us who have 8 and who don’t have that problem), running on XP Pro SP2.
I can’t script but if that’s the way it has to be then bring it on.
