Mails not being received from Google Mail Servers

Hello All,

We are having issues with receiving emails from Google Servers today, after being forced to amend our MX Records.

We were originally using a third party for spam filtering, but we had a disagreement and they pulled the plug.

The MX records have been amended to point at the Domino Server and for the most part, we are able to send and receive mail from most providers.

However, we seem to be unable to receive from Google, even through we can send to them.

We see a number of connect and disconnects from Google servers, with no messages received, yet I have sent a fair few.

Is it that Google has still got out MX records cached and hence is not delivering as yet, or could it be something Server related?

I would appreciate anyone’s advice.

Thanks,

Simon

Subject: Fixed.

I turned off SSL and all is working now.

Thanks for the tip.

Subject: Were you doing enforced SSL?

If you don’t enforce SSL, then domains that don’t use TLS should be able to connect.

Subject: If you’re using STARTTLS, you might need to update your server SSL/TLS certs to use SHA-256

If you post the output of DEBUG_SSL_HANDSHAKE=2 and DEBUG_SSL_CIPHERS=2 here we should be able to help, but the default logging for SSL/TLS-related failures in the current FP of 9.0.1 should reveal a great deal of information about what is going wrong without enabling any debugging parameters.
