MailMove -Adminp - 21 days - Location documents

Hi,

We want to initiate a mass mail move to split our mail folders due to problems related to the backup system (Takes to much time).

We have 2 servers in clusters (ServerA and ServerB). Every mail files are located in the MAIL folder.

We want to split it to Mail1, mail2, mail3\ and mail4\

One of the major problem is related to the action - Push changes to new mail server

The user must authenticate to the mail server to initiate the modifications of his location documents.

What can be done for users who are not connecting to their mail server for a long time(Ex: Maternity)?

I’ve read here:

Mail file moves expire after

Enter the number of days during which the Notes client will update mail-related changes. Valid values are 7 through 60; the default is 21 days.

that you can change a setting in the server document, but it’s not long enough.

Is their a way to bypasse this limit?

Can a re-initiate of the mail move can be perform?

I know that we can use this workaround,

IBM - Can the Administration Process (AdminP) run to completion

An administrator would like the Administration Process (AdminP) MailMove to run to completion without user interaction (i.e. without the user having to authenticate with the server).

but is their any impacts for the location documents of our users who doesn’t authenticate before de 60 days limit?

When they come back after a year, will they be redirected to their new mail file?

Thank you,

JYR
