I have two servers in the same domain. I have dreated a mailin database on one server, the other is my mail server. When I send email to the mailin DB, it just sits in the mail server’s mail.box for anywhere between 3 and 5 hours. Can you point me in the correct direction where to look to correct this. What is even more strange is that the first day that I created the mailin DB everything worked great. Mail was routed immediately to the mailin. The second day and since then there is a tremendous lag.

You probably need a server connection document defined in the mail database’s server Domino Directory that enables it to locate the mail-in database’s server. If this already exists, look at the scheduling.
I took a look at one of our server connection docs and it is scheduled for 360 minutes or every 6 hours.

Check my first response…Somehow my named network disappeared during the course of several domino reinstalls…!! Can you tell me, does the server have to be restarted for this to take effect?

Rhank you so much for your response. I have a connection document from the mail server to the other server as you stated, and both servers are in the same named Notes Network… Any other suggestions?
