MailDB time 10 hours off

We just upgraded our mailserver from v5 to v7.02, Platform is Windows 2003. Windows’ timezone and Clock are set correctly via NTP. Domino’s Timzone- and DST settings look good as well, Notes.ini is clean. We didn’t change our maildbs yet, so they still have the V5 mailtemplate. Since that upgrade the timestamps of new mails are 10 hours earlier than the actual time. I.E. it is 4 pm right now, and when I click on “New Memo” the mail has a timestamp of 6am this morning! The servertime is obviously correct since the server console shows the right time.

Ths happens with all MailDBs, and it doesn’t matter wich Notes Client Version or wich workstation I use. How do I get the right timestamp into new Memos?

If you are subject to new US DST rules, check your current location doc. We had a large number of Notes clients that did not have Notes set to use OS TZ settings (Current location doc, Advanced, Basics). After the received the Windoze OS DST TZ update, the current location doc setting went to an Aussie TZ (GMT+10:00) Brisbane). Correcting the TZ and THEN setting back to Use OS TZ fixed them all.
