My users are asking me how to run a newly created rule against the messages already sitting in their Inbox. They could do this in Outlook. Is such functionality missing in Lotus Notes?

If you want to run a rule on existing mail, you’ll need to create an Agent rather than a rule. Rules run before new mail has arrived (sounds odd, I know, but this means that it runs on the router and the rule is applied before the mail hits the users inbox).

Yes, user can create equal agent, but requested functionality looks quite reasonable to be included in Client
(and was asked before).
It should not be hard to implement, and maybe already implemented by someone…
