I have a user who recently created a new folder in her mailbox. Now whenever she starts Notes her mailbox is already open to that folder.
She uses the old workspace, and the workspace tab is active. If she opens her mailbox without going to the tab that’s already open, it opens a second instance of her mailbox (to the inbox until a minute ago when I created a new problem. Now it’s a blank page with “NotesMail Title” on the tab.)
Any suggestions?

Sounds like she’s managed to add a bookmark to that folder to her Startup set (under More Bookmarks in the bookmarks bar at the left-hand side of the client).

Find the bookmark on the left-side bookmarks, right-click on it, and choose “Set Bookmark as HomePage”

It’s more than likely to be a corruption of the bookmark database.
Update the user’s templates from the server.
Make a note of the bookmarks on the user’s bookmark bar.
Close Notes.
Open the Notes Data directory.
Rename bookmark.nsf to bookmark.nsf.old
Reopen Notes - a new bookmark.nsf will be created.
Recreate the bookmarks by dragging icons from the workspace. (N.B. It’s worth waiting a few minutes before doing this as some bookmarks will be created by policy documents when you access the server.)

Thanks. I think the bookmarks file is probably it, will try the suggestion. (Already checked the first two suggestions. After re-reading my problem description I don’t think it was very clear.)
