I am unable to get mail tracking to work on one of my mail servers. I have opened the MTDATA->Domino Mail Tracker Store, gone to properties, clicked on the magnifying glass, then clicked CREATE INDEX, yet it never appears to get built.
I even deleted the MTSTORE about 2 weeks ago and still unable to do mail tracking.
Presumably you have enabled tracking via the server’s configuration document (Router/SMTP tab, Message Tracking tab). Is MT Collector running as a server task?
If so, is the problem JUST with the FTI, or is it the whole MailTracker store? If you open the MailTracker store (mtdata.nsf) directly, do you see it being updated with new records?
If it is just the FTI, can you build a FTI on any other databases on that server? Does the notes.ini on the server contain an entry for Update_No_Fulltext ?
Mail Tracking is running. The MTStore is being updated, as I see new documents whenever I open the database. It’s just that every time I try to do a tracking request, it says “Unable - Database is not full text indexed”.
Sure enough…I thought I was managing Notes.ini changes via config doc and had removed it, but I looked at my INI, and there was the Update_No_Fulltext.
