Mail size in Lotus (safe) --> Mail size in Gateway (over max limit size) = message not sent

Hello,

Has anyone know the conversion mail size in Lotus to Gateway?

Mail size in Lotus = 9,8 MB

After sent, Mail size in Gateway = ?? MB

I know it will always be different, but I would like to know if there is any specific calculation for this.

Or maybe can tell me roughly how many percent of size will be added?

Sorry for late reply,

As until now we don’t know how many MB exactly the difference, then we just made our own assumption about 2 MB different.

So, if we have 10 MB limitation, The max attachment size is 8 MB.

The rest is for the body message, header, letterhead, and conversion, etc.
