Dear Experts,When I compose a mail and send it to all the users in my organisation, the mail is received by all except me. My name is listed in the allusers group, yet, I do not receive the mail.
In general any person whose name is listed in the allusers group does not receive the mail sent by him/her.
Kindly let me know how to resolve this problem.
Thanks and regards,
Rajendra.

-
cc yourself and
-
don’t save a copy when you send it
why;
-
you won’t receive a message you send when you are part of the group you send it to (you did send it so you should know what you sent), if you saved a sent copy this won’t work.
-
documents (messsages in this case) keep their UNID’s where possible so if you save a copy then the UNID already exists in your mail file so you don’t get a copy delivered (you already have it - it’s in the sent view) it may also check the message id to check that it actually is the same document (not 100% sure on that bit).
some of the older versions did use to pull the message back into the inbox, so if you did this (save it) you’d see message with a sent envelope icon in the inbox (not normal).

Notes is smart and doesn’t send messages addressed to the group to the member sending the message. If you want to receive a copy of it cc: yourself.
HTH!

IIRC, back in R3, Notes wasn’t this smart, and you would indeed receive a copy of an email that you sent to a group containing your own name. Not only that, but any recipient who was in multiple groups in the recipient list would receive multiple copies. Since these behaviors are pretty much universally acknowledged to be bad, R4 fixed this problematic behavior.
I’m afraid that you’re in an awfully small minority if you take the other view, and you’ll have to live with it.
