Hello all!Im’ searching on the web and also in this forum but I can’t find a solution…
I need to create a simple rules that move a mail tagget as [SPAM] in subject from Inbox to junk mail.
This is not a problem on a single mail box, but there’s a way to “distribute” a rule to 200 mailboxes?
I’ve tried modifying the mail6 template, but when I refres/replace the design the rule don’t appeare in mail database…
what’s wrong?
Thank you very much
Umberto

You could do this by writing some lotusscript code to create the rule document when the user clicks on a hotspot button in an email. Design refresh will not do this as it only refreshes design elements and a rule is data.
Have used this idea a lot to change values stored in local names.nsf during Domain mergers, for example.

Thank you, this is my last chance…
my goal is to be “transparent” to the user…

I’ve heard or read that server rules are hard on performance. I have one and it is for certain spam. It works great and no performance hit.

No chanche…
I’ve contacted Ibm Lotus Support and there’s no supported way to “deploy” a rule…
But I can’t believe that I’m the only geek with this need…
In any case, thank for the support.
bye
