Mail rules CAPI or C++

Has anyone had any success adding/manipulating mail rules through the C- or C++ APIs?

I’ve figured out that it’s not as simple as creating the appropriate rule document and adding it to the mail db and ($rules) folder. There’s more to it, but I haven’t sussed it yet.

–I’m guessing I have to modify the Server’s config document or documentcontext or something. Any idea how to access that through the APIs?

Any good reason why you want to do it with CAPI or C++. Have you already tried to do it with Lotusscript?cheers
