Mail rule "Copy to folder" creates no real copy

I setup a mail rule in my Notes client to copy every incoming email into a specific folder that I use for archive purposes.

The rule works. All incoming emails are being copied into the selected folder.

However, when I delete the original email in the inbox, the copy in the archived folder disappears as well.

Checking the id of the original email and the copy, they are the same.

So my question is basically, how can I create an archive folder for all incoming emails, even when I delete the original email

Thanks,

Ulf

Subject: Remove from folder

Do not delete the document from your inbox by clicking the Trash Can icon or pressing ‘Delete’. Instead, click the down-arrow next to the Folder icon and choose ‘Remove from Folder’.

Thanks for your help.

“Instead, click the down-arrow next to the Folder icon and choose ‘Remove from Folder’.”

Unfortunately I do not see this “down-arrow” next to the folder icon.

Maybe because we use an older version of the email template?

Is there another way to get to this “Remove from folder” function?

Thanks,

Ulf
