After some unrelated (non-Notes) software updates on his pc, one of our users has discovered that when he replies (with or without history) to any email, the Import dialog box opens.
He can select Cancel and continue, but how do we stop this from happening in the first place?
Thus far, other users with similar software updates have not experienced this problem, so the timing may be coincidental.

In our case there is a pretty simple resolution to this problem.
It seems the user checked the box “Automatically append a signature to the bottom of my outgoing mail messages” and selected HTML or Image file, but didn’t specify a file in the box below…
Unchecking the box “automatically append…” solved the problem in our cases.

I am having the exact same problem with one of my users today. I have no idea what caused it. Even when I open her mail file on my machine it does the same thing…opens the import dialog box when doing a reply. I tried fixup, updall, and compact and no luck…anyone have any other ideas?

I am having the same problem with one of my users too. It started last week when he attached a file to a memo. Now, everytime he tries to create a new memo or reply to another, the import dialog box comes up. Lotus should see what is happening here.
