Mail repetation for a particuler location

When a particuler mail is send to a particuler location all the users on that location are receiving same mail multiple times & I can see the mail is stuck in the sending servers mail.box…but the recepients are receiving same mail multiple times.Kindly suggest what could be the possibilities. Thanks

Subject: The recipients are also in groups

See if the sender is sending the message to groups. Perhaps the recipient who is receiving the message multiple times is in more than one group in the TO field

Subject: in the sending servers mail.box

RE: “I can see the mail is stuck in the sending servers mail.box”. You need to determine why it is stuck there. You might be able to save yourself some troubleshooting time by creating a new mail.box on that server (assuming the existing one is corrupt). You’d do this by taking the server down, renaming the mail.box to mail.old, and starting the server back up. It will create a new mail.box. If that doesn’t solve the problem, you should call support. They’ll help you enable verbose logging on the router, and interpret the results in the log file.

Subject: Mail repetation

I have renamed the existing mail.box at sending server,It resolved the issue for one day then again the problem is started…Stucking the particuler mail in the mail.box of the sending server & recepients are receiving mails multiple times, remember this is happening only for one location other location users are receiving same mail only once…kindly help this is bohtering me a lott…Thank you very much in advance

Subject: third-party programs? or call support…

Since the problem returned, it sounds like something is causing corruption to the mail.box on that server. The most common cause would be something outside of notes hitting the file, such as antivirus or backup programs that run on the OS. See if recreating the mail.box AND disabling those programs fixes the problem.

Otherwise, it sounds complex enough that I would advise you to call support. They can help you turn on advanced logging and they can analyze the results to determine the problem.
