when reading my mail using iNotes, messages I have read are marked as “read” (of course).When I collect my mail afterwards using outlook (pop3 connection to domino server),
I only receive messages that are “unread” which means the messages
I read before using iNotes are not received by outlook.
As a test, I did the same but instead of iNotes I used the “old” webmail of notes.
In this case, also the read mail is received by outlook.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason for this ?

Add the following line to your server notes.ini:
POP3_READ_ALL=1

In iNotes goto your Inbox. Here you have a button available called ‘Mark Read’. Place your cursor over this button and click ‘Mark All Unread’. Then check your mail with Outlook, all of your messages should now be downloaded.
Subject: RE: mail read with iNotes not available with pop3
yeah, I know that.But this means that everytime I read mail using iNotes, I have to mark the message
as unread again before connecting with outlook.
Isn’t there another way to mark messages as being retrieved by a pop3 connection,
regardless of the fact that the message is marked as read or unread.
With other mailservers, I can read my mail as much as I want with the webinterface
without affecting the messages to be retrieved by outlook over pop3.
Even when I connect again with another mail client over pop3 to that same server from the same machine,
all messages are retrieved again because it knows that this is another client.
I suppose there is a similar functionality in Domino ??
