Dear All,
I have Lotus Domino 8.5 and given 500MB quota each users. Once the database reach to 500MB then they deleted the old mail themselves.Let’s say if they deleted 100MB still shown 500MB database size. Can you please suggest me what is the problem there?

Hello, there is a server task to compact the mailfiles. In our company this task run only in the night to safe resources at the day. It’s possible to do a compact manualy, too.
Look in the domino administrator for exact description.

Turn on transaction logging on the server.In the server document on the Transactional Logging tab, set Quota Enforcement to Check file size when adding a note.
