Mail Preferences

We are testing 8.5 full on a few clients, mostly in IT but a few in the business. We have noticed that anytime we change the Sending and Receiving preferences for “Check new mail every” to something 5 minutes or less, it always reverts back to 10 minutes once we restart the client. I can put 6, 7, 8, or 9.

I have scoured the forums and have been unable to find any entries/solutions.

Subject: Desktop policy?

Do you have a desktop policy assigned to these users? If so, it could be pulling the setting from there.

But thanks for the suggestion. I hadn’t thought of that.

I checked some users on 7.0.2 and they are able to set their check every new mail to below 5 with no problems. I confirmed the 8.5 issue with 2 other testers.
