We run Domino 6.5 server and client, we also run Netware as a file server. From time to time user may have to login at a diiferent workstation. They continually call me when the mail notification popup identifies new mail, when it is for the original user on the computer. If I turn the popup off then they call or turn it back on themselves. I have created a different location document to identify a different user ID. However because the Notes.ini file still identifies the original user to notify for new mail. I can’t install for multiple users as I don’t know who will be at the different stations. Am I over thinking this and there is an easy fix?Thanks for your time.

It uses whatever mail file name is specified in the location they are under for that popup. Our users play musical chairs all the time. We have them use a shared copy of Notes with their files on a network share. They can log into Notes on any machine and are set up correctly.

Nancy, do you mind to give me more details on shared copy of Notes and use users’ files in network share (such as settings)? It is because we also face similar issue that one machine would needs to be used for serveral users, however, they are always different persons. Thanks a lot!!!
