Hi,
Having a little problem with mail from a certain address not arriving into a mail in database.
We have a dealer that submits warranty claims into a mail in database for processing but they are not appearing. The mail is received by our mail firewall and passed to the Domino Server and the log show the mail as being deliverd to Warranty Mail In Database but when we look at the actual documents created in the databse, none have been created. This does not happen for all documents. Just ones from particular email addresses. It happened to another mail in databse before and i had to physically created a person mail box and deliver the mail there for the emails to be received and created correctly.
Help appreciated.
Subject: what checks have you made?
Have you checked the following:
-
does the document count in the database increase after the mail is received?
-
are there any rules or agents in the database?
-
have you checked there is only one inbox (assuming a mail template is being used)?
Let us know of any other checks you have made.

Hi,
The document count does not increase and the there is a new before new mail arrives email agent but it doesn’t delete any records.
Also on a view which display every document in the database they do no show up.
There is only one inbox.
Thanks for your help!
Subject: uhmmm
if the document count does not increase, the doc is not being added.
You said there is an agent with “before new mail” trigger. Have you checked if this agent terminates properly when processing these new emails? I would put some “print” in the agent to check whether it terminates without errors.
But apart from this, I am out of ideas.
