Mail mark as read

HiMaybe someone had the same problem then I. One of my users said sometimes mails mark as read and he does not know that come the new e-mail, he have many folders.

Subject: Is this user accessing mail from a remote device?

  • When I read mail on the remote device it marks it as read in Notes. This confused me until I realized what was happening. (silly grin)

  • If they are not accessing mail from a remote device I can offer no other suggestion. Good luck!

Subject: remote device…

He used notebook with notes and he has local replica of mail database. The problem is that other users have no such problem. Lotus Notes sometimes surprising, maybe he do something wrong:/ but i don’t know what. thanks for post

Hi,

Wanted to figure out exact problem.

  1. When the new mail comes, the count is not increasing near inbox folder in the navigator?

OR

  1. When the user open the mail for reading, the count is not decreasing.

  2. Does it happen always.
