Mail Journaling

This is my first time setting up Mail Journaling. I believe I am doing something wrong.

I have setup the config doc with a rule that says, When any recipient contains Mary Jane OR any recipient contains Mary_Jane Journal this message. On the Advanced tab, Journaling tab, I have journaling enabled. Field Encryption exlusion list says, “Form; From; Principal; PostedDate.” Method is Copy to Local Database. Name is default mailjrn.nsf, on behalf of myself. I ran tell router update config from console. I have observed emails coming in from Mary Jane, but it is not recorded in the mail journal.

I have followed Help tips and I don’t know what I’m missing. Any help is Greatly appreciated!

You said you set the mail rule to capture message TO Mary Jane, but saw messages coming FROM her, not sure if that’s a typo. If it’s not, you’ll want to set your rule to be when any recipient OR sender matches the name.

That is a typo, there was an email delivered to Mary Jane, but no journaling is occurring.
