Mail is being routed to an address that isn't there

Here’s the scenario:

I have a group called: group@company.com

It contains two mail users. Neither user has anything in the Forwarding Address field on their user document.

There was, until about 20 minutes ago, another mail account called MailAccount, but I have since deleted it (its person doc, and mailfile).

However, whenever I send a message to group@company.com it is forwarded to this MailAccount address, and then kicked back to me. I can’t find any trace of this address anywhere, yet the server continues to process group@company.com as if it’s supposed to forward to this address. As far as I know, it never was forwarded to that address in the first place.

Anyone know where I might look?

Thanks.
