Mail-in databases and Send To field

Hello All,We have the following error/feature regarding the Mail-in database whose name is “New York - Main Office”: when user opens a new memo and click on “To” field the word “New York” and then presses enter, he gets the word “New York - Main Office” (the mail-in database name).

Why is it? How can we make Notes not-filling in the Mail-in databases names in “To” field in new memos?

Thank you,

Daniel

To the router a mail-in db is just another recipient, same as a person, so why shouldn’t the client auto-complete a partial recipient name? If you don’t want it to auto-complete though, you can hit comma instead of Enter.

in the user’s location doc change Recipient Name Type-Ahead to Exhaustve Search rather than Stop After First Match. This will present a pop-up if there are other matches for New York. If you want to prevent user’s from “finiding” certan mail-in databases you can rename them to start with a special character such as “#”. This is what I did at the last company I worked for and for groups we did not ant people to esily find we used “$” at the beginning of the group name.
