We have an issue with mail in databases where they are not showing emails that have been forwarded into us from external emails.
They do not show in any view we define such as an inbox but they will display in the (untitled) view that notes creates when you first create the database.

Subject: why documents do not show up in views
The view is actually a folder, and the document will not show in the folder unless it is put into the folder.The view is set to display response documents in a hierarchy, and the documents in question are responses whose parent documents are not also in the view (possibly they don’t even exist in the app).
The view’s selection formula doesn’t match the documents in question.
The documents are in the view, but they aren’t where you expected to find them (sort order issue).
The documents are in the view, but they aren’t where you expected to find them because they’re response documents in a hierarchical view, so they’re with their parents.
With the Inbox folder in a mail-in database, please note this folder has to be named ($Inbox) or the mail system will not know to put email into it.
