I have a strange problem : if user Brenda sends an email to user Charles, Charles will never see that email. I have checked through Messaging Tracking and the email has been delivered to Charles’s mailbox, but it gets automatically deleted and Charles is not able to see that email into trash. The problem is only happening when Brenda sends an email to Charles. There is no other problem with any of the other users.
I have try to use a different Notes client, same problem. I have try to look at the “All Documents” view and I am not seeing the email.
Charles has very likely created a rule (perhaps inadvertently) that deletes messages from Brenda. In this case, Brenda’s messages will appear to be delivered in server logs (because they are ‘delivered’ from the router perspective) but they are being deleted. If you don’t see a rule visible in Charles’ mail file, he may have a ‘phantom rule’ where the rule was deleted without disabling it.
