Mail forwarding and table appearence (SOLVED)

When forwarding a document containing a table, we observe two behaviors :

The first one is the expected one. The table in the mail, before it is sent, looks exactly like the table in the original document.

The second behavior, the unwanted one, is that the table appears with border (width 4, cell border style: ridge), some text is missing and a different font/different font size is used. This table is difficult to use because the data appears wrapped on the next line. Again this happens even before the mail is sent.

The forward action is the standard one, no specific code. What I don’t understand is that every user has the same configuration, the creation of a user account / notes.ini are automated.

I guess there’s one small option I’m missing. Has anyone experienced such a behavior?

One of my users has the same problem. Have you find the solution yet?

Found the cause from another thread. Apparently if you send an email that contains table to an internet email address, it will change the table format. Even for internal emails between Notes clients, if the sender sends the email to the recipient’s internet email address and not to the Notes address, the table format will go haywire.

Thanks,

I just didn’t do that simple test: sending the mail to the internet address instead of the Notes address.

The tables are ugly. But when using the client 7.0, the text doesn’t wrap like it does in 6.x. As we are planning to migrate to 7.0, things should get a bit better for our users.
