Mail Followup - Document is from a different database

Problem/Query:

A user regularly receives the message “Document is from a different database” when marking an email for follow up. I have tried to solve this with fixup, compact and updall, however it regularly reoccurs.
Is there any way of permanently solving this problem?

Please try the workaround:

Re-open the mail database, restart Lotus Notes or work on follow-ups from the mail file view-level instead of an opened memo.
