Is the Administration Server listed into the ACL of the mail file to be replicated and with Mgr access and Replicate or Copy document option selected? Also, a connection document has to exist directly between the source and target server.
The problem is with the Last Modified date in the user’s mail archive settings (I would have never guessed this had anything to with a mail file move, but apparently AdminP checks to see if the mail file has an archive, and if so, does it need to update the archive server specified). Go to Actions, Archive, Settings, Settings tab, make sure the last change entry is a valid user name (If your user had a cert rename, it will probably be their old name) If the Last Change field contains a user name that is no longer valid, then resave the settings so that a valid user name is placed in the Last Change field. Re-issue the mail file move so a new AdminP request gets generated (don’t just re-run the existing adminP request) and the move should then complete successfully.

Thank you very much for this.
Of course this leads me to have to ask the agent Gurus… Is this field editable from an agent? The only way I could view this was from the Lotus Client - View. However it has to be a server side data field since it is checked from the server before the mail move is performed! Has anyone written an agent or script that will run against all user’s in an Address book and edit this field. We recently upgraded all our mail servers and changed names- so the majority of user’s have an incorrect name in this field (the old server name)
Subject: RE: Mail File Move: AdminP Error (SOLUTION)
I am having the problem described in this thread. But when I go in to change the name on the Last Change field, it is not something I can change. I have tried to enable archiving then disable it and now the Last Change shows my name and certifier instead of the mail file owner’s name. Before I made this change the Last Change had the correct name but an old certifier. The mail file move still gives me the same error. I am set up as the admin and have Full Access Administration. I am using version 7.0 of the Admin and Client.
