Hi Guys,I have a problem with a user at a remote site.
The notes client is connecting to our central notes server to open the mail file and not the one located on the remote site.
I have checked the address book location setup and it has the mail file location on server with the correct server set in the servers tab.
There is no connection document for the remote sites server in the notes client but that shouldn’t matter right?

Subject: Did you try to open the mail file which is on the remote site manullay?
Remove the mail file from the workspace page, then Open Application>navigate to the remote site and open the mail file.

Hi Li,Yeah i did this and it opens on the correct server. And from then on in that session it re-opens the mail file from the correct server.
But the next day after she shutdown and starts the computer back up it changes back to the head office server.

Subject: rep/save conflict
open the personal address book to the Advanced > Locations view and see if there are any rep/save conflicts in there, if so delete them.
Subject: Check the clients notes.ini entry for names=
Make sure that the user hasn’t set a different address book in the order eg names=compnames.nsf, names.nsf
The local names.nsf needs to be the first in the list or you will experience all sorts of issues like this
