Mail File Folders Collapsing

Windows/XP 5.1 Intel PentiumNotes 8.5 Standard.

Domino mail server 8.5 on iSeries (also clustered with 8.5 server on Win2003)

User accessing server replica (iSeries is home mail server) of mail DB.

The first thing this user does in the day is expand their mail folders (without changing the design of the outline in their mail DB, which I would rather not do), is there a way to have the folders auto expand?

But their primary issue is that once the folders have all been expanded, the folders are automatically being collapsed. I have found one thread mentioning this issue, not in one of the IBM fourms:

http://www.experts-exchange.com/Software/Office_Productivity/Office_Suites/Lotus_SmartSuite/Lotus_Notes/Q_24549981.html

…I don’t know if there is a solution provided, I don’t have a subscription for this site.

I have access to log into the mail file in question, I opened the mail file, I expanded the folders and waited, the folders did not collapse. My PC is running Windows XP also, with Notes 8.5 (all clients).

I’m not sure if I have missed a hot fix, or am missing some setting…

Any suggestions\ comments gladly welcomed.

Thanks,

Nick

Subject: We have the same problem for one user

It is bound to the mail file in our case, any 8.5 client will collapse the folders if left long enough. IBM just issued to us a hot fix, do not know yet if it works.
