Hello,
I have an issue with the calendar in my mail file.
I imported a custom calendar into Notes, which inadvertently created busy time for the meeting slots. When i removed them from my calendar, by pressing delete on each, they disappeared from the calendar view (they are not viewable on any of the different views on my client).
However, when myself or a colleague view my calendar using a web browser (the calendar display feature) it shows i am booked up and lots of busy time where those scheduled meetings were.
Is there a remedy to get rid of this issue on the client? Is it a problem with my busytime.nsf file? A problem with my mail file?
I have no access to the domino server (i am an end user) and the administrators have no idea what the issue or solution is. I am running Windows XP and Notes 8.5.1.
Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.
Subject: something to try
Have your administrator run the server command tell sched check your name/your org to see if it fixes your busytime. Otherwise - link them to - http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=899&uid=swg21141060
and have them start at the top
Subject: If import was iCalendar, you can reimport as non-busy
Assuming you imported via an icalendar feed, there is an option on the import dialog to make it busy/available. If you re-import the same feed with this option changed, it will clean up your old entries.
Subject: A couple more thoughts
A couple questions to learn more about what got you into this in the first place:
1: Did you delete the entries from a local replica or from the server replica?
A: If server, from your Home Server or from a cluster mate or other replica?
1: If not your Home Server, was it down?
2: If you create a new meeting invitation then you right click on one of these time slots and select the Open option, do you see an entry or do you get an “Entry has been deleted” dialog?
