Mail File Archive Links

Hi All,I’ve a quick question as I’ve been looking, but can’t figure out how its built. It would appear by default that only Managers of a mail file can view the Tools->Archive link in the frame at the left of the mail file. I want to change this so other people, with less access, can view this link (ie. so people with delegated access can easily view the archive).

I’ve looked in the design and found NotesMailOutline, but can’t figure out how its populated, or where I can set the required acl level. Any help would be very much appreciated

Of course, the mail archive must be on the Domino server. You just need to edit the ACL of the archive db to allow others to access it. An authorized user can open the db from his workspace or from a bookmark he adds to his Open menu.

Yeah, the ACLs aren’t really the issue, its more the link from the mail file we’d like, so the users don’t have to setup and maintain bookmarks, but only mail file managers (or owners) can see the link…
