Hi, I have a user is enquiring if its possible to be able to use a search mechanism for a document which primarily searches his mail file and then if it doesn’t find it there then searches his archive ?

I don’t know of anything that can do that but I do know that is something that they have planned for a future release of Notes.

Subject: You can already do this with our (commercial) product
For instance you can search directly from mail across your active mail & multiple archives (regardless of location), in specific folders etc.
