Mail encryption

My company is looking to implement email encryption for outgoing internal & external emails. The requirement is to make everything go as an encrypted email.

I was hoping that you guys might take a few minutes and give me some ideas as to what other companies are doing with their own encryption methods, pros/cons, etc.

Please let me know all pros and cons in details abt encryption, some one told me very difficult to trouble shoot encrytion problem and did u guys recomended me to implement encryption if no then why.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Subject: Mail encryption

You can send it in MIME format using S/MIME (x.509) certificates. The only common protocol between the most systems is SMTP, which is why you use S/MIME. Using the Notes connector and Notes encryption is not possible because the Exchange/Outlook users will not have a Notes key.

When a Encrypted mail (Domino Encryption leaves your environment it will be sent as unencrypted.

I hope this helps.
